GAMEPLAY

1. ADAPT TO AN EVER-CHANGING MAP

The map evolves through Wild Habitats, while Events reshape the board as you play. Events bring Auroras that grant powerful one-time abilities and Blizzards that freeze Habitats and disrupt your strategy.

2. INTRODUCING THE SPIRITS

Brand-new species enters the game. Spirits manipulate Snowflakes and Blizzards to turn harsh conditions into powerful advantages. Unlock bold new synergies never seen in the base game.

3. TURN SNOWFLAKES INTO POINTS

Snowflakes accumulate in the Wilderness, increasing the value of the creatures beneath. Time your actions to collect them at the perfect moment, then finish with the most and dominate the new Project scoring.

Rahdo Runs Through

The best part of this expansion is that the board play is more interesting... it does make the core gameplay and the variety of the worker placement part of the game quite more interesting.

One Stop Co-op Shop

Bad Comet has a knack for making mechanics serve the theme, and Winterfall is a great example of that. The island changes as the game goes on, and instead of fighting those changes, you’re constantly figuring out how to make them work in your favor. I had a lot of fun with that.

Winterfell adds a lot, new cards and leaders, a more dynamic board...but easily my favorite part is the ability to hunt for cards I need for my engine!
