Overview

Wondrous Creatures is a strategic board game that combines an innovative worker placement mechanism with a tableau-building mechanism. The mechanics of placing workers across two hexagonal map spaces while interacting with adjacent icons to obtain resources or to activate various special effects adds a unique puzzle-like fun to the worker placement experience Wondrous Creatures provides. Collect over 100 wondrous Creature Cards and combine the unique abilities of each creature to build your very own powerful tableau!

GAMEPLAY

1. 2 HEX OCCUPYING WORKER

Your workers occupy 2 hexes of the map and interact with ALL its surrounding icons.
The location of your workers will become increasingly critical and progressively puzzling.

2. RESOURCE OR CARDS?

Players must choose whether they would like to obtain a Resource or a Creature card from each of the surrounding habitats.

3. BENEFIT FROM THE EVOLVING MAP

As the game progresses, the map evolves. Use the butterfly net to activate Special Icons adjacent to your worker or to collect the eggs!

4. UPGRADE YOUR WORKER

Unlock your workers' own unique abilities. These abilities activate whenever you place your workers and work to strengthen your strategy.

5. PLAY CREATURE CARDS TO BUILD YOUR RESERVE

Pay the resources requested by the Creatures and play the Creature cards into your reserve. You can now use their dynamic abilities!

6. COLLECT AND HATCH EGGS

Eggs you collected from the map and cards will help you complete achievements. Hatch or even revert eggs to gain rewards and synergize with your cards!

7. ACCOMPLISH AN ACHIEVEMENT GAMEPLAY

Collect the required species and achieve the achievements before the other players. You’ll receive various rewards and trophies. If all trophies have been used, the game ends!

8. CREATE YOUR OWN COMBOS

Create your very own combos by utilizing over 100+ creature cards, eggs, unique worker powers, and various special icons on the map. The possibilities are endless!
